A Small Love Affair With Pete the Cat!

Ok.  I'll admit it.  I'm a little obsessed with Pete the Cat, especially now that we read about him nearly every day in our house!  Eric Litwin and James Dean sure made one of my most hated pets (sorry to all of you cat lovers out there) into a small, fictional obsession!  I recently bought two more Pete the Cat books and just finished making this extension activity pack which includes 10 different activities for Pre-K through second grade. It's great to use for any special education class, speech-language therapy, or for language arts activities, and all activities are aligned to the common core.  Here's a small sample!

Please share why you love Pete the Cat in the comment section below by July 7, and we will give you a free copy of this activity pack!

  1. I like to read the original Pete the cat book at the beginning of the school year. It has a good message to not "sweat the small stuff" and is also great for working on sequencing, colours and sentence structure.

  2. We love Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons in my Classroom. Great for early math concepts.
