Our book of the week is great way to introduce point of view, perspective taking and comparing and contrasting. This week we targeted all three with Duck Rabbit (written by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenfeld). Check out our ideas below:
SYNOPSIS: Two kids are watching a cloud and each sees something different. One thinks the cloud looks like a Rabbit and the other says, No a Duck. They start arguing over the cloud and it becomes a puzzle that the reader has to solve. Great for discussion. It all depends on how you look at things!
