El Dia De Los Muertes (The day of the dead) and Halloween fall
within the same few days. I have a few students who understand the traditions
of both, and many students who only know about Halloween. For my 8th
grade language students over the next few days, my plan is to have them read information about the history of
both holidays (taking good notes) so they then can compare and contrast the holidays in a page summary. Here is a brief overview of both holidays and the resources I plan to use.
